Brand Identity
We designed new brand identities for the three of the four middle schools in Florence 1.
Most Sneed Middle School Squires eventually become West Florence Knights and the Sneed administration wanted to make that connection visually, without totally sacrificing their own identity. The new Sneed brand identity shares a design style and color palette with West Florence, but has its own identifiable elements, including the Squire icon and a “S" sword monogram.
Moore Middle School was transitioning from an intermediate elementary school to a middle school, and wanted to leave behind their child-like lion logo and appeal to the older students they would now serve. Like Sneed Middle School, Moore also feeds into West Florence, so the new Moore Lions identity shares a similar Knightly design aesthetic, but its color palette and regal lion mascot provides plenty of visual distinction.
Williams Middle School proudly feeds into Wilson High School and they share a color palette and mascot; however, Williams wanted their identity to stand on its own, so we designed a Williams Tiger that could be the slightly younger sibling to the Wilson Tiger.
