Founded in 1866, Wilson High School boasts a proud, nationwide alumni base that many colleges would be envious of; however—like many high schools—Wilson had relied heavily on existing imagery for their branding efforts, resulting in a lack of brand consistency. We refined the existing Wilson “W” to make it more distinctive and digital-friendly, found inspiration in school archives for custom “Wilson” and “Tigers” logotypes, and created a new tiger logo that Wilson can proudly call its own. We then applied the new designs to apps, merchandise, courts, fields and uniforms. The result is a unique and ownable Wilson High School brand identity that the students, staff and alumni can be as proud of as they are of their school.
